WinkDog MotorSports teams have hit the halfway point of their seasons with a whole lot of racing left. But we could use some help to complete our schedules. Therefore we are offering an "August Special" for sponsorship packages. For $15K, your company can have sponsorships with all four of our teams for the month of August, including 2 of our teams which will be attending the Knoxville Nationals August 6th through the 9th.
DIRT Inc. just finished off a nice July 4th weekend by capturing 3 straight A-Main finishes, including a season tying best of 9th at Haubstadt, IN. Chad and the guys have hit their stride and are running well night after night. Chad has a Heat Win and a Hard Charger Award to his credit so far in 2008 to go along with 3 Top 10 finishes . Chad and the team will be running the Knoxville Nationals next month.
Hindi Enterprises put up 2 Top 10 A-Main finishes at the annual Knoxville Double Feature night with a 10th and 7th place finish. Dion currently leads Rookie of the Year points and also has a Heat Win and a Hard Charger Award to his credit to go along with 5 Top 10 finishes. Dion and his team will also be running the Knoxville Nationals next month.
Standridge Motorsports had a challenging weekend as diminishing funds prevented the team from racing in Terre Haute, IN with the AllStars. And the trip to Paragon for the July 5 race cut into the teams pocketbook took a hit because of a flat tire on the hauler, which tore up the wheel well. They showed up late and qualified last after rushing to get unloaded. A bad heat race didn't help matters and relegated Jeremy to the B-Main. However Jeremy charged from the back and qualified for the A-Main after a wild last lap. He then earned the Hard Charger Award by moving all the way up to 10th in the A-Main. This gives Jeremy 1 Heat Win, 1 Hard Charger and 7 Top 10 finishes.
Deavers Racing is still planning on running some Midwest AllStar Series and special one-off races later in the year, but it won't be with their best motor. Putting a high powered bullet back together takes not only time, but money. Unfortunately these animals aren't cheap. So they will be saving their new chassis for the 2009 season.
